_santos' bio

Dante Costantini, aka Santos Resiak, is arguably one of techno’smost promising young prodigies of the moment. The experiences of his past year have taken in the US, UK and Europe, as well as South America as explored from his home base of Rosario, Argentina.

This young producer began his journey in 2000, preparing a live act based on his laptop and midi controller, looping and sampling his own productions -a private arsenal of minimal, tech-house and techno; his style retaining plenty of groove and utilizing vocal snippets to their full potential.

Having toured Rosario City and also Mexico in ’06, Santos has played at such popular and well known venues as Rioma, Hotel Condesaand the famous Am Club with well known artists such as JenifferCardini, Tobias Thomas and MatíasAguayo, as well as a set at the South American Music Conference (SAMC).

Touring the US cities of New York and Philadelphia in 2008, the chance to play at venues such as Sullivan Rooms and The Bunker only increased a desire to venture further afield -with optimism, he set off for Europe in the same year.Signing exclusively for Robin Porter’s US & UK based label Immigrant Records, Santos made Berlin his base from which to explore the continent, playing there in that thriving city as well as in London and Poland.

His most recent release, MiércolesEP, on Unfoundsound, presents five tracks of catchy minimal tech-house jams –all light-hearted, jazzy, steadily grooving, pleasantly haunting and DJ-friendly. Having already released on Immigrant Records, GluckskindSchallplatten(with remixes from Ryan Crosson) and Someone Else’s Unfoundsoundlabel, Santos is always striving to forward his sound with each new experience garnered –setting high his own benchmarks, who knows what the future will hold.
